The Joint ITER-IAEA-ICTP Advanced Workshop on Fusion and Plasma Physics was held at the International Centre of Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy, 3-14 October 2011.The workshop was focused on key frontier areas of active scientific research and technological development pertaining to magnetic confinement fusion. The aim through the international perspective provided in this advanced workshop was to benefit participants from developing countries as well as their national programmes
