Targeted dendrimers

The present invention relates to a composition for targeted delivery of a bioactive molecule to cells in a body of a recipient, said composition comprising a polypropylenimine dendrimer and/or derivatives thereof to which one or more cell targeting molecule (s) have been conjugated thereto; and a bioactive molecule associated with said polypropylenimine dendrimer and/or derivative thereof. In one embodiment the cells to be targeted are cancer cells. The targeting molecule may be transferrin, lactoferrin, lactoferricin or gambogic acid.
