Consumption of seafood, including catfish, has become an important part of the diet for consumers in the United States. Per capita consumption of catfish increased from 0.41 pounds in 1985 to 0.90 pounds in 2001. The goal of this study is to investigate factors that influence the decisions to consume and frequency of consumption of catfish.
