Studying tourism in the aftermath of political conflict has always been an important part of tourism research scholarship. Through the tourism lens, the study described here addresses the issues of social injustice and inequality, which are the consequence of a war and post-war legislation and regulation. The fieldwork took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The data was collected employing semi-structured interviews with tour guides and tourism decision makers, as well as overt participant observations of the tours occurring in politically contested sites.
