ECG 10+:Systematic assessment of ECGs by general practitioners

The ECG 10+ has proven a useful tool during ECG training for GPs and non-cardiologists and can be used in daily practice. With this tool, ECGs can safely be considered normal if there are no abnormalities at any of the 10 points. If there are abnormalities, the tool helps the assessor to integrate these with clinical findings so as to come to a diagnosis (the ‘plus’ point of the tool).
