In this paper, generalized stress intensity factors of a three-dimensional rectangular crack meeting at an interface is analyzed. The body force method is applied to formulate the problem as a hypersingular integral equation where unknown function is a crack opening displacement. According to the behavior of the crack opening displacement near the crack front, the numerical method of the hypersingular integral equation is proposed, where the displacement is approximated by the product of fundamental density functions and polynomials. The calculation shows that the present method gives highly satisfied boundary conditions and rapidly converging numerical results.
