The faculty has been searching for accurate methods of evaluating the curriculum and performance of graduates of Brokaw Collegiate School of Nursing since the founding of the school at Illinois Wesleyan in 1959. Evaluation of these aspects would result in the discovery of faults and strengths in the program, thereby enabling the faculty to improve the curriculum annually. The school utilizes student evaluations of each course following its completion to determine how well the course objectives were fulfilled. An evaluation form has also been prepared for use by the instructor and student to assess the student\u27s ability to perform nursing functions and utilize health and nursing principles while the student is in school.
