Thesis (M.S.)--Wichita State University, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Dept. of ChemistryThe research presented here details the development of two separate methods for ESI-MS and LC. The first chapter gives an introduction to the first of the methods presented here, the detection of ketamine in alcoholic drinks. The second chapter gives a brief introduction into the relevance of developing a method for investigating clomiphene in biological samples. The third and fourth chapters outline the experimental parameters for the ketamine and clomiphene detection methods, respectively. Included are the parameters used for the mass spectrometer, liquid chromatography, and UV/Visible absorbance spectroscopy as well as the methods for extract...
