Joint operation of such resources can enable stable transition to a green and renewable energy system. This paper considers a plant consisting of a battery storage, an electrolyzer, and a photovoltaic power plant, connected to the electric power system, where it can inject and extract power, and to the hydrogen system, where it can inject hydrogen. It can trade in both the power and the hydrogen day-ahead markets and can provide balancing services to both system operators.
