This chapter examines the potential impacts of big science laboratories/research infrastructures. It will review the various tools for evaluating big science/research infrastructures in terms of economic impact, scientific impact, and societal impact. There is a shift currently in-progress from measuring outputs towards achieving outcomes which is addressed as a conclusion.</p
