The end of the Pleistocene period in western Europe is characterized by major climatic variations, impacting the interactions between environments, human and animal populations, in their access to resources as well as their mobility. Although today the global paleoenvironments of the south-west of France are well known, it is still a challenge to understand those climatic changes on a local scale and on a smaller time period.
