The Finance Committee's recommendation of $500.00 would have forced Prometheus to cease publication. Luckily, this was avoided. An amendment was passed to restore Prometheus to publishing levels. I would especially like to thank Rick Hutter, our former editor, for his help, and those SSA Senators who supported our organization. I hope that in the future those who hold the purse strings will realize that the arts are an essential part of university life.
