Introduction: Tinnitus is defined as an abnormal perception of a parasitic sound without external auditory stimulation, it is one of the most frequent otological symptoms. It seems that the somatosensory system of the head and neck is at the origin of part of these disorders more commonly called somatosensory tinnitus.
