International audienceNanoMagSat is a 12 U nanosatellite project, complementing the ESA Swarm constellation of satellites, aimed at monitoring the Earth's magnetic field and ionospheric environment on low Earth orbit. Currently, this project is under a Risk Retirement Activity funded by ESA and led by OPEN COSMOS in a consortium with CEA-Leti, IPGP, PROSIX and COMET.Two of the payloads of the satellite, the Miniaturised Absolute Magnetometer (MAM) and the High Frequency Magnetometer (HFM) need to be kept away from any source of magnetic perturbance, such as the body of the satellite platform.
