International audienceMicroorganisms are key contributors of aquatic biogeochemical cycles, but their microscale ecology remains largely unexplored, especially interactions occurring between phytoplankton and microorganisms in the phycosphere, i.e., the region immediately surrounding phytoplankton cells.
