La importancia de la metodología feminista en una criminología crítica global

This article is part of the proposal given by Rivera Beiras in this journal in 2016: the global critical criminology. A possible epistemological rupture in the discipline that implies expanding its limits of study and not committing the errors and forgetfulness of the past. On this basis, this paper aims to justify the importance of feminist methodology in the way of making and understanding this new criminological trend. A methodology, or rather, diverse feminist characteristics that, as an attempt to assert, can be considered indispensable in the ways of denouncing and making visible social harms or structural violence and making memory. Therefore, this paper will cover the historical role of women in the discipline, will address some of the proposals and contributions in defense of the satisfaction of human needs and will try to reflect empirically this position through a case study.Este artículo parte de la propuesta dada por Rivera Beiras en esta revista en 2016: la criminología crítica global. Una posible ruptura epistemológica en la disciplina que implica ampliar sus límites de estudio y no volver a cometer los errores del pasado. Sobre esta base, en este texto se marca como objetivo justificar la importancia de la metodología feminista en la forma de hacer y entender esta nueva corriente criminológica. Una metodología o, mejor dicho, diversas características feministas que, como tentativa de afirmación, pueden ser consideradas indispensables en las maneras de denunciar y visibilizar los daños sociales, las violencias estructurales y hacer memoria. Por ello, en este escrito se recorrerá el papel histórico de la mujer en la disciplina, se abordarán algunas de las propuestas y aportes en defensa de la satisfacción de las necesidades humanas y se intentará reflejar empíricamente esta posición a través de un caso de estudio
