This paper explores the potential of ecological feminism (ecofeminism) to transcend patriarchal societies, which promote capitalistic development,and to construct an alternative society with ecologically sustainable development. Feminism has a great potential since it has multiple branches such as Marxist feminism,Socialist feminism,Cultural feminism,Radical feminism and so on.
