Add to ORKGPolarographic behavior of uranium (6)in sulfuric acid media was studied in the presence of tetraphenylarscnium chloride (TPAC)and tetraphenylphosphonium chlorid (TPAC).It was found that TPAC is more effectively separate uranyl ion from diverse cations by so1vent extraction.Ⅰt this medium,uranyl ion exhibits a well defined wave whose E_1/2 is-0.72V (vs.SCE)and whose i_1 is proportional to the concentration of uranyl ion in the range of lO＾-3-10＾-4M. The interferences by various cations and anions have been studied. Among these,any amount of WO＾-_4 and AsO＾-3_4 interferes to the determination of uranyl ion
