Historical Rare Materials and the Institutional Repository

This paper was aimed at considering an advantage and a problem when the institutional repository recorded historical rare materials. In the institutional repository, there are a function to give metadata to the digital file, a function to accumulate the digital image that was already made to the repository server, a backup function to deliver digital data for stability in the repository.
