Sports media has been covered for many decades and is still one of the most popular forms of media we see reported. One sport in particular which is now enjoyed and played by all ages across the globe is basketball. The game of basketball has been played for over a century now and has been one of the most popular sports media topics for decades. For my research I will be using the cultivation theory because it theorizes that tv shapes the way in which we see the world; in this case it shows us how the world of basketball has been shaped throughout the years from the media
