Cancer is one the leading causes of death worldwide. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is among the ten most frequent cancers. The most common form of RCC, clear-cell RCC (ccRCC), is treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) for advanced disease but a large proportion of these patients do not respond to treatments. I sought to characterize ccRCC tumoral composition using single-cell and bulk RNA-sequencing coupled with spatial transcriptomics.
