The work presented here aimed to propose appropriate uses of artificial intelligence (AI) for precision medicine in transplantation. Ensuring personalized patient care requires combining much information on: the patient, the graft, and immunosuppressive treatments. AI offers the possibility of considering and combining many variables to improve transplant recipients’ long-term outcomes. In a first study, we showed the contribution of mycophenolate mofetil Bayesian (a ‘primitive’ form of AI) AUC estimation and dose adjustment in 1,051 pediatric kidney transplant recipients.
