埼玉県越谷市The joint attention formation process and Language development was examined for a 2 year-old children and their mothers. In the first half and the second half, mother's communication style and the child's utterance during picture-book reading was analyzed. There were many affirmative responses among the mothers of a style who are going to maintain joint attention, and their growth of the child's number of utterances was remarkable. A possibility that a mother's strategy of joint attention would affect a child's development of speech and language also in the level of 2 year-old children was suggested
