Cardiovascular events are the most important cause of morbidity and mortality after liver transplant (LT), since many recipients are older with cardiovascular risk factors and pathophysiology particular to end stage liver disease. Moreover, the LT procedure is associated with a unique cardiac risk. Detection of cardiovascular disease and stratification of risk have, therefore, an important impact on the prognosis of these patient
