Background: Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) has intrigued clinicians for many years because of its devastating consequences. As an iatrogenic condition resulting from elective ovarian stimulation in the quest for pregnancy, the need to completely prevent the syndrome is evident.
