STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENGELOLA KELAS UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN SIKAP DISIPLIN SISWA KELAS 1 DI SDN 42 PEKANBARU

The importance of this research is because there are problems that occur, especially regarding student discipline, such as students being late, not following the anxious line, wearing uniforms that do not comply with existing regulations or regulations, which are related to student discipline. The aim of this research is to describe the teacher's strategy in managing class 1 to foster a disciplined attitude. Primary data sources obtained by researchers through interviews, observation and documentation. Researchers interviewed teachers at SDN 42 Pekanbaru. Where the teacher knows that the problem that occurs is that there are several students who are considered lacking in terms of discipline. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using 3 triangulations, namely source, technique and time triangulation. Data analysis uses the Miles & Huberman technique which includes stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that teachers at SDN 42 Pekanbaru have implemented classroom management well. Good classroom management is seen because the teacher has managed the class according to indicators of successful classroom management. Class management carried out by class I teachers is able to make students capable of discipline. This is proven by the behavior of students towards their teachers.
