IDENTIFIKASI PEMANFAATAN MEDIA LOOSE PARTS DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI KECAMATAN SEKOTONG TAHUN 2023

This study aims to identify loose parts media in improving cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years in Sekotong District. The research method used is Mixed Method research.  The population in this study is all teachers who teach in the age group of 4-5 years in kindergarten / PAUD Sekotong District. The samples in this study were TK Negri 1 Sekotong, KB Darul Huffadz Al-Musthofa, KB Semai Bibit Kompak, KB Tahzibul Ulum, RA Miftahul Jannah, KB Permata Hati, Kb Ihya Us-Sunnah, KB Tunas Bangsa, KB Darul Ilmi NW Sayong. The data collection tools used are questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis with percentage performance.  The results showed that loose parts learning media materials used in improving the cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years who got the frequently used category were natural materials 4 (44%) respondents and materials that got the rarely used category were glass and ceramic materials 9 (100%) respondents. Judging from the way the use of loose parts learning media materials in improving the cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years using the project learning method
