埼玉県越谷市The following is an analysis of the results of an actual survey of TV viewing by kinderquarteners and young elementary school students. The survey involved preparing a questionnaire which investigated three points: 1) the environment and conditions of children's TV viewing, 2) program content, 3) their parents attitude. The parents of 445 children answered the quwstionnaire. From the survey vesults we have come to the folloewing conclusions: 36.6% of all the families, including even unclear families and those living in small apartments have two TVs or more in the home. Even though the subjects of the study are younger children, there are TVs in 11.8% of the childrens room. Children inalmost all of the families are allowed to watch TV ...
