The construction industry is characterized by the presence of dramatic amount of information among several fragmented project stakeholders. The disability to properly share and process this information made the industry face many challenges and problems. Building information modeling (BIM) became a necessity in the construction industry to overcome these problems and pave the way for the coming digital transformation.
