The project culminates from works on BioDigester Technology for providing clean energy, healthy sanitation (Decentralised Sanitation, DeWaT) and Enhanced Agriculture Production using Organic fertilizers. The need for sustainable and healthy food production systems has paved way for the growing use of organic fertilizers and manure. Biogas Technology through the BioDigester effluent/slurry has proved to be a good source of organic fertiliser or manure. The organic fertilizer from BioDigesters is a good soil conditioner improving the soils' water retention and plants' water absorption characteristics.
