神奈川県茅ヶ崎市Abaca Ecotourism Development Project, leaded by Ministry of Tourism of Fiji since 1979 to 2000, was an international cooperation project between Fiji, Japan and New Zealand. Ecotourism development in such a small region as Abaca Village is not only a new business for the community, but also a method to improve the social infrastructure of the community. This study aims to evaluate the outcome and issue of the project after eight years since it finished. This study consists of two researches. The first research fourses on internal evaluation by local guides for the project and current situation of ecotourism in the village. Second research focuses on tourist satisfaction and its factor.
