Environmental problems & policies in East Asia: Research Reports on China Companies and Environmental Management

神奈川県茅ヶ崎市The purpose of our research is to clarify and verify the real state of pollution in modern China. Since last year, we have been researching the environmental management of Companies in Beijin(北京), Dalian(大連), Shanghai (上海), Hangzhou(杭州), and Wuchen(烏鎮). Urban Cities are without exception disturbed by the air pollution from factories and exhaust gas, and small towns such as Wuchen(烏鎮)have difficult problems with water pollution, too. The canal water in this small town is polluted with waste liquid from fields and factories. This canal is a very important resource for tourists and Wuchen town. Our research teams want to begin to improve Wuchen's environment with an NPO in Shizuoka prefecture
