指導教員: 埼玉大学大学院理工学研究科准教授 山根敏In order to investigate the behaviors of the newly developed DE-GMAW (double-electrode gas metal arc welding), a finite element analysis (FEA) model is developed to numerically analyze this novel process. The author have extended the functions of MENTAT, which are a standard software package for numerical analysis of welding processes,i.e., simplified the method for processing the weld reinforcement and proposed an appropriate mode for the welding heat source in this process. Based on the FEM results of temperature profile in DEGMAW, the weld dimension at cross section and temperature distribution are obtained.
