In this study, the biology of Sandbar sharks (Carcharhinus plumbeus (Nardo, 1827)) in Boncuk Cove in Gulf of Gökova, which is the Special Environmental Protection Area, is given; was contributed to their conservation and an observation study was carried out with underwater cameras in their natural environment without human effects. Including 112-days fieldwork carried out 3 stations in total; 1440 hours of video recording was reviewed and 41 times Sandbar sharks were encountered. Additionally, in the survey conducted in the Gulf of Gökova; 3 different groups which are fishers, tourists and local people and totally 203 people were held one to one interview with and statistical program was used to measure the level of knowledge about species ...
