A study of information quality management in local government : focusing on information quality act

本稿は、日本の行政が収集し提供する情報の質を向上させる方策を検討することを目的とする。アメリカ合衆国で制定されたInformation Quality Actと、その要求に基づいてOffice of Management and Budgetと教育省が作成したガイドラインと教育省の取り組み内容を参考に、日本の現状を踏まえながら、行政内部における情報の取り扱いに関するルールの設定と行政が提供する情報に対する関係者からのフィードバック回路の構築を提案した。What should the Japanese local government do to improve and ensure quality of the information? This study reviews Information Quality Act in USA and guidelines that were made by Office of Management and Budget and United States Department of Education. This paper proposes making rules for government officials to treat information and establishing administrative mechanisms allowing affected persons to seek and obtain correction of information disseminated by government.20周年記念特集
