GAGASAN RESTRUKTURISASI KOMISI PEMBERANTASAN KORUPSI SEBAGAI UPAYA MEMBANGUN PERADABAN HUKUM DI INDONESIA

This research is motivated by the existence of corruption cases which are increasing every day, thus hindering development in Indonesia. The addition of these corruption cases was accompanied by a loss of public confidence in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as an independent institution that handles corruption in Indonesia. Based on these problems, the formulation of the problem studied in this study is how is the restructuring of the KPK as an effort to build legal civilization in Indonesia? The research method used is normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results of the research show that the existence of various problems within the KPK resulted in the need for restructuring of the independent institution. The restructuring carried out can be started by improving internal or human resources at the KPK itself. Thus, this study concludes that it is necessary to make changes to the substance of the new KPK law
