The study deals with the possibility of stabilization of conservative mechanical systems in the instable state of equilibrium. It investigates how instability is influenced by the gyroscope built into the system and at what rotation speed the gyroscope can be stabilized. It determines under what circumstances the system obtained by such a way can be considered as a Ljapunov-system. Within the frame of an example it determines the condition of existing periodical solvings
