Actually, several theories are in use for describing elasto-plastic deformation. A wide variety of forms exist for constitutive equations expressing theories of plasticity. Here, a general form of constitutive equations will be given for a significant group of theories of small elasto-plastic deformations. It is pointed out that this incremental constitutive equation arises as a special case of the theory de\'eloped by Beda [1] for the general description of plastic behaviour
