Introduction: Decisions regarding optimal integration of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy should be made on a case to case basis in a multidisciplinary tumor board setting. Treatment planning of advanced oral cavity cancers is derived from trials that included a heterogeneous group of patients which included all head and neck sites and observational data from the oral cavity cancer patient series.
