Abstract

Black & white photo depicting members of the Corbusier family and friends mounted on horses and standing outside on a trail surrounded by trees, looking to the south and in front of Officer's Row, where the quarters of Fort Grant fortification members resided. Back of the photo reads: "Trees were planted by Col. Anson Mills in 1885-86. Note irrigatind ditch and Lake Constance. The dog is "Shep" -- the Corbusier dog mentioned by Mrs. Corbusier in VERDE TO San Carlos, by Wm. T. Corbusier." Back also lists names pictured from left to right, mounted: Philip W.
