This paper investigates the long-run changes in the wage rates of Japanese manufacturing firms between 1976 and 1999. Our estimation results show that the wage differentials were reduced rather rapidly since the middle of 1980s.本研究では、日本の製造業における賃金率が1976年から1999年までという長期的なスパンでどのように変化しているのかを分析する。我々の推計の結果、1980年代の中頃より賃金格差は急速に減少していることがわかった
