Karakteristik Penderita Hipertensi Lansia di Posyandu Lansia Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar

ABSTRACT Hypertension is one of the most common health problems in the world which is indicated if a person has a systolic blood pressure of ≥140 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure of ≥90 mmHg, on repeated examinations. One of the factors that influence the incidence of hypertension is exercise, stress and diet. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between exercise, stress and diet with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population is 299 people with a total sample of 75 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data were analyzed and tested using the chi-square test with a p value ≥ 0.05. Shows that respondents who have poor sports status are 48 people (64.0%) with a p value of 0.002 which means there is a relationship between exercise and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. The status of mild stress is 43 people (57.3%) with a p value of 0.024 which means there is a relationship between stress and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. The status of eating patterns is not good, namely 49 people (65.3%) with a p value of 0.039 which means there is a relationship between diet and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. There is a relationship between exercise, stress and diet and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at the Posyandu for the elderly, Krueng Barona Jaya District, Aceh Besar Regency. ABSTRAK Penyakit hipertensi adalah salah satu masalah kesehatan yang banyak terjadi di dunia dengan ditandai jika seseorang memiliki tekanan darah sistolik sebesar ≥140 mmHg dan atau tekanan darah diastolik sebesar ≥90 mmHg, pada pemeriksaan berulang. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian hipertensi yaitu olahraga, stres dan pola makan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan olahraga, stres dan pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi sebesar 299 orang dengan jumlah sampel 75 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling, data dianalisis dan diuji dengan menggunakan uji chi-square dengan nilai p ≥ 0.05. Menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memiliki status olahraga kurang baik yaitu 48 orang (64,0%) dengan nilai p value 0,002 yang berarti ada hubungan antara olahraga dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Status stres ringan yaitu 43 orang (57,3%) dengan nilai p value 0,024 yang berarti ada hubungan antara stres dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Status pola makan kurang baik yaitu 49 orang (65,3%) dengan nilai p value 0,039 yang berarti ada hubungan antara pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Adanya hubungan antara olahraga, stres dan pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia di Posyandu lansia Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar.
