The investigation reported here proposed the use of a set of technological resources for teaching Science through a conceptual framework that aimed to stimulate interaction among students cooperatively, with the goal of developing in them social and cognitive skills related to the Natural Sciences curriculum. The Pedagogical Architecture for Teaching Science (PATS) used cooperative learning methods ‘Peer Review’ and ‘Group Investigation,’ with activities mediated through several technological resources that constituted a simple, dynamic, and adaptable virtual learning environment, essential for the continuity of school activities during a period still marked by restrictions on in-person activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
