This work aims to discuss the specificity of Italian thought as described by Remo Bodei (2004) and Roberto Esposito (2010). From this proposal, we’ll start from these questions: Is it possible to speak of a specificity of Italian thought? If so, what is the specificity of this thought in Italy? According to these authors, Italian philosophy behaves in an original way, compared to other European traditions.
