This article seeks to examine the potential impact of training indigenous teacher-researchers, particularly in the context of the Takinahakỹ Nucleus for Indigenous Higher Education at the Federal University of Goiás, as a catalyst for the decolonizing research approaches. The work aims to deepen the understanding of how Intercultural Education not only questions the dominant structures in knowledge production, but also acts as a point of convergence for dialogue among different academic disciplines, offering new methodological opportunities for research with comprehensive, decolonized, and intercultural application.
