Female Genital Mutilation is a cultural practice generally carried out in different countries of sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Asia, although it is also very present in Spain. This study aims to analyze of the scientific production implement in Spain in the Web of Science and Scopus databases focused on this problem. After carrying out various inclusion and exclusion criteria, 39 articles have finally been chosen for a subsequent quantitative analysis through the databases used, to finally make a qualitative analysis on various variables that affect Female Genital Mutilation.
