Architecture, especially housing, serves as a vessel for life. It is also a reflection of inhabitants’ personalities, interests and lifestyles, which would be very diverse. Although current housing design can meet the needs and demands of most people, it is still based on the architect’s and designers’ imagination, and users are abstracted as a series of data. This approach overlooks social diversity and fails to respond adequately to different or evolving needs.
