Niche with a guardian-like figure, Qianfo zhai (千佛寨)

Located in Qianfo zhai 千佛寨, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. In the center of the niche we see a relief of a standing figure. The sculpture seems to not be standing straight but is slightly bent to one side. His face has prominent cheekbones and relatively deep eye sockets. The top of its head has a triangular cone-like element. Its right arm is raised in front of its chest. Some features were originally carved on the right arm, but they are difficult to identify.
