The Langara Park project explores how public golf courses could be transformed to provide more equitable access to green space and create a more resilient and adaptable city. The site is currently the Langara Golf Course, one of the three city-run eighteen-hole golf courses in Vancouver, Canada. It is located east of the Cambie Corridor/ Street, and within a five-minute walking distance from the Langara-49 Avenue skytrain station. With an ambitious Cambie Corridor Plan, the City of Vancouver is planning to double the population and add over 30,000 new homes in the corridor in the next 30 years.
