The main goal of this study is to provide a comprehensive, step by step explanation of the design and manufacturing process of a rear wing for a Formula Student car. This project is intended for those with an interest in the aerodynamics science and wants to get some information in this particular case. The design of the rear wing has been done using CATIA V5 software. It has been simulated with the Siemens CFD software STAR-CCM+, and the structural stiffness has been analysed with Ansys. The accuracy of the CFD results has been validated through wind tunnel testing at the UPC of Manresa. Finally, the wing has been manufactured in the workshop of the Formula Student team, Dynamics UPC
